What we have built this site to meet, and how to tell us when we have missed something.
This site is built to WCAG 2.2 Level AA. That is a commitment about the build, and it is testable — the colour contrast ratios, keyboard navigation, focus indicators, and heading structure were designed to it rather than checked afterward.
- Colour contrast every text and background combination meets AA or better. The brand cyan is used as a fill behind dark text, never as text on white, because it fails there.
- Keyboard navigation every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator.
- Headings in order one H1 per page, and heading levels that do not skip.
- Reduced motion animation is disabled for visitors whose system requests it.
- Form labels every field is labelled, not placeholder-only.
- Skip link a skip-to-content link as the first focusable element on every page.
