How a project runs

What happens between your first call and the first inspection.

Five steps, in the same order every time. A single door and a 400-unit building follow the same sequence — only the timeline changes.

Step one

The site survey.

  • It costs nothing and takes about 45 minutes for most buildings. Large properties take longer and we will tell you in advance.
  • We walk the whole building including the systems another contractor installed and the ones nobody has looked at in years.
  • Bring whatever documentation you have or none at all. Missing paperwork is normal and is frequently the actual problem.
  • We document what exists device counts, panel types, last inspection dates where we can establish them, and condition.
  • You get the findings whether or not you hire us the survey produces a written picture of the building either way.
Steps two through five

Design, install, commission, maintain.

02

Design & proposal

One written plan and one price covering the whole property. Where budget requires it, phased across fiscal years with the code-required work sequenced first.

03

Installation

Our own technicians, not subcontractors. Scheduled around your operations — after hours, weekends, or school breaks where the building requires it.

04

Commissioning

Every device tested, the acceptance test attended with your AHJ where one applies, and your staff shown how the system actually works.

05

Inspection & service

We take over the compliance calendar. You stop tracking due dates and start receiving reminders instead of citations.

What we will tell you

Three things you can hold us to.

When your existing equipment is fine.

If the panel in your building is sound, we will say so. Recommending replacement of working equipment is a short-term way to run a business in a region this size, where everyone eventually talks to everyone.

What can wait and what cannot.

Not every finding is urgent. We separate life safety deficiencies from things you can schedule next year, and we tell you which is which rather than presenting one alarming number.

When we are not the right contractor.

Some work is outside what we do well, and some buildings are far enough out that response time should weigh on your decision. We would rather say so than take the job and disappoint you.

No cost · No obligation

Request a site survey

We walk your building, document what you have, identify what is missing or coming due, and give you one written plan for the whole property. It takes about 45 minutes and costs nothing.

  • We call within one business day

To find a time that works around your operations, not ours.

  • A technician walks the property with you

Bring whatever documentation you have, or none at all. We document what is installed, what is missing, and what is coming due.

  • You receive a written plan and price

One plan for the whole property, phased across budget years if that is what the building needs.

  • Nothing else happens unless you say so

We do not chase. If the timing is wrong, tell us when to check back.
